What 2026?
My “homeless” situation is the result of several mistakes on my part and malevolence on the part of others.
What I did wrong was invest in art, photography, gaming, and creative pursuits that are entirely speculative in nature. I am a gambler who rejected the parasitic dull lifestyle offered by banking and insurance.
I spent a lot of money and time in fun pursuits. I promoted and supported others. I attended festivals, conventions, gaming nights, and traveled to do so.
I spent years taking photographs of wildlife. I invested in cameras and gear. I travelled to exotic locations like the Everglades.
I spent years writing and promoting screenplays and other writing. I invested money in pitch decks, writing groups, and promotional material. I traveled to many events and locations to promote my work and connect with others.
I spent decades playing games for fun and streamed for a long time. I promoted my stream and invested time and money in it.
Recently, I sold my house. I did so without an understanding of the real estate market.
There were many places to live comfortably nearby, but I hesitated to buy any single house before understanding the opportunities each market provided.
Nevertheless, I did buy a plane ticket for my mother and I to meet in Las Vegas to consider our options and booked our hotel accordingly.
What others did was to reroute my mother, steal my cellphone. My wallet was lost or stolen. No idea.
I’m trapped in Vegas with no ability to work or earn money.
My mother is being railroaded and risks losing her independence.
My things are in storage and people are threatening to liquidate them.
Now, I’ve rebuilt before and for that reason, I’m saying, I’m not going to do it again. What’s at stake is 2026.
